A few days back the Heera Group of companies wanted back their properties that were seized by the Supreme court so that they can clear the debt of the claimants that are left to be paid. The court cleared it, and the company was in a celebration mood. The verification of the claimants has been started and the official claimant number declared is 7358. Now the case when verified by the Supreme Court says that a huge number of claimants from the official statement is fake as they cannot show any official document for their investment in the company.
The Tough Situation
Now the court has declared that the Heera Group should cross-check its list of verified claimants. No previous application will be taken officially unless it is verified. As the membership clause point, number 19 states that the investors wishing to discontinue their investment with the company should be returning all the original documents and receipts to the company while keeping the Xerox copy with them. Now the deadline for submission of the claim is 30th November and after that nobody will be allowed to further submit the claim. The claims will also be verified with the documents submitted to the company at the time of discontinuation. The Supreme Court has so much faith in the company because Dr. Nowhera Shaik produced her property worth 900 crores to satisfy a claim of 350 crores.
