Although she started as a vegetable vendor, Nowhera Shaik soon switch to the venture of selling old clothes. Despite starting up alone, she got the effective support of her family and other local women. Following this, Dr. Shaik dived into gold trading. Apart from being a successful entrepreneur, Nowhera Shaik is also an unsung philanthropist as well. Unknown to maximum, she annually donates 2% of her company’s profit towards the development of the rural regions. Besides, with a contribution of 1000 crores to the establishment of schools and colleges, Dr. Shaik is certainly a prominent educationist.
Additionally, she also funded the development of several regional institutes in Andhra Pradesh. Mumbai, Kochi, and other Middle Eastern regions are the eminent places where Nowhera Shaik is socially active.
