Does the Indian politics of today comply with the Indian Republic form?

A republican form of government
A republican government is one in which “supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives”. It is the opposing form of government to a monarchy. The primary benefit of a republican form of government is in its fairness as the general mass believes that their elected representatives would amend unfair laws and bring just and fair laws into legislation. As such, the laws bring fairness to the general population and not just a few favoured people in power like billionaire businessmen or chairmen of private forged companies. The citizens are expected to live better for they would have the unhampered privilege and they would implement their liberation through the representatives they elect.

The BJP government
However after BJP took up the baton in the year 2014, the whole idea of the republican form of government has been turned upside down and it has been crippled to its core in terms of the ideologies.
Enforcing biased laws, playing divisional politics and fuelling communal hatred had been much of the term of their work. The irony of the BJP party is that it has aggravated all the issues in their works which it had campaigned against in the year 2013.

Betrayal of the general mass
Although just before the elections there has been a withdrawal of the “three black laws” however during the tenure of the Modi government there had been a steep rise in the rates of suicides committed by farmers. In the final budget passed, the demand of minimum support price supported none. In addition to this, the government imported wheat and pulses without a thought.
The hatred spewed against minority religions especially the Muslims in light of their Hindutva campaign enforced hatred against the innocent mass is defiantly communal and abusive.
