Nowhera Shaik was the eldest of all five children. Despite belonging to a financially semi-stable background, her early life wasn’t a fairy-tale. She was just five years old when she received her first entrepreneurship lesson. From the very beginning of her, Dr. Nowhera Shaik was into trading and business. Her career started as a vegetable vendor which she soon switched to selling old clothes. Moreover, she kept on changing her business unless she was introduced to gold trading. In addition, she started teaching Quran to the local destitute girls at the young age of 19.
The rise of the Heera Empire
Trading in gold was indeed a turning point in her life. The business that she started by purchasing gold from goldsmiths and selling them locally, eventually flourished into the Heera groups. Well, her companies are presently one of the significant conglobate industries of India. To start with her companies, it has actively operated in the countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE and others. Meanwhile, with the advancement of her trades, she began with mobile medical services for the people of Kerala. In addition, Dr. Nowhera Shaik also came up with job opportunities for the seekers in her companies.
The Youth Icon of India
Being an epitome of worth, Dr. Nowhera Shaik contributes 2% of her yearly profit towards the education of girls. Besides, she also offers free professional courses for the impoverished children of Karnataka. Allowing a loan of up to 2 lakhs without interest, she is indeed a true leader.
Suppressing the political odds, she founded the All India Mahila Empowerment Party in the year 2017. With a motive to reform the Indian Government, this party broke the social taboos for the better. From promoting child education to fighting for women’s rights, she has proved herself to be the Iron Lady of India.
