The Heera Group has shown immense growth in a relatively short period of time under the direction of Dr. Nowhera Shaik. The resourceful lady born in 1973 in the small village of Kallur, Chittoor District, started the MNII, an Urdu and Arabic development society, with 150 pupils. Out of which, 120 of the total students came from a low socioeconomic background. They received free instructions here and earned a purpose to live again.
Further, she established the gold import and export company known as Heera Gold in 2008. More than fifty countries actively participated in the trade and became a part of the Heera Empire. Owing to her greatness, Dr. Nowhera Shaik was warmly felicitated by Fortune India.

Many accolades, such as the Best Leadership Award for Industrial Development from the IEDRA (Indian Economic Development & analysis Association), New Delhi, recognised her work. Former Indian Election Commissioner Dr. GV Krishnamurthy, AICC Secretary Major Ved Prakash and former CBI Director Jogeender Singh presented Dr. Nowhera Shaik with this honour.
Also, academic SS Bhakri, IEDRA Secretary General Ranjan Uberoi, and Justice OP Verma were among the notables who were present at the ceremony.
Along with other significant international leaders, Dr. Nowhera Shaik’s name was included in the SUPER a hundred Magazine. Additionally, she has received the 2012 Statesman Priyadarshini Award, clever Business Awards from Emirates Gold. Besides the “Best Shopper” award from ICICI Bank. Dr. Nowhera Shaik received the “Vishishta Mahila Ratna Samman Award” from Union Minister Smriti Irani.
