The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s mother, passes away.

PM Heeraben Modi passed away at Gandhinagar, and the PM performed his last rites on Friday. Modi, who reached Gandhinagar early this morning, consigned the mortal remains of his mother, Heeraben Modi, to the fire along with his brothers. According to a hospital bulletin, PM’s mother died at the age of 100 at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad around 3:30 am today. She was hospitalised on Wednesday because her health was getting a bit low. Somabhai Modi, PM Modi’s brother, and other family members were also present at Heeraben Modi’s residence.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also condoled the death of the Prime Minister’s mother, saying that she was the epitome of simplicity and high values. The PM of India was deeply saddened by this incident. Union Minister Smriti Irani also expressed grief and said that the demise of the PM’s mother, Heera Ba, is very painful news and that his mother had a special place in a person’s life. I pray to God to give strength to the Prime Minister of India and his family to bear the loss. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari paid a heartfelt tribute to PM Modi’s mother and highlighted her image of being extremely simple and loving, which will always be remembered.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, said that the death of the PM’s mother is an unbearable and irreparable loss for a son. To a son, his mother is the entire world; her death is an unbearable pain that causes heart-breaking pain, and it will never be forgotten because no one can replace the mother.

Following the rites, Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to travel to West Bengal to launch development projects, and he may participate in the events via video conferencing. PM Modi left for Ahmedabad after flagging off the Vandhe Bharat train in Howrah, Kolkata, and other developmental initiatives.
