Rising Crime and Unemployment rate in Haryana

The opposition of the Haryana assembly has blamed the ruling government for the rising crime and unemployment rate in the state of Haryana. According to the reports, the unemployment rate in the northern state of Haryana is the highest in the country. Obviously the problem of unemployment is the primary cause of the rise of crime rates there as well. Haryana’s unemployment rate is almost four times the national average. According to the experts, this whole issue reflects the inability of the government to generate means of livelihood and enforcing law and order in the states. Especially in 2020, After the pandemic hit, many people lost their livelihood. This seems to be the catalyst in the rising criminal cases in the state.

The government role is very much important in curbing the crime rate but the private industries and companies can also take part in reducing the unemployment in Haryana by investing in many farm industries, food production, food manufacturing . So the unemployment will be easily reduced and crime rate falls automatically.

The lockdown has affected many people in the state very badly. Most affected industries are Hotel and Restaurants. On the other side IT industry did not lay off many employees. Though the employment department of Haryana is taking many initiatives to curb the unemployment the problem still persists.

The low education is the main problem for the inception of several other problems. Among them are the unemployment and crime. So there is a big necessity for the education empowerment in Haryana state. It is only possible with true dedication and will power of the people.
